One of the finest literary events I know runs from 12-6 pm at various venues in the Tower District, all walking distance apart. Groups of four writers share the reading time, and it's a chance to experience the diversity of our Fresno writing community, young, old, and everyone in-between, covering all genres of creative writing, and ending with a poetry conversation between the former United States Poet Laureate, Juan Felipe Herrera and our current State of California, Lee Herrick.

I'll be reading in two different groupings--first, with Connie Hales, John Hales, and Chuck Hanzlicek at Spectrum Gallery on Olive Avenue from 2-2:45, and then from 4-4:45, with Angela Vincent, Kirk Stone, and Victor Trejo at Hart's Haven, used bookstore, on Van Ness Avenue.

This is a remarkable free event--hope you'll make it!
