Coming Soon: a local bookstore featuring Fresno Poets!

Fresno Poets' books should be prominently displayed and available to purchase by readers! It's kind of crazy that it hasn't happened before now. Making my fellow Fresno Poets more visible here in our own community is one of my goals as the Fresno Poet Laureate.

This is a shout-out to thank Jean Fennacy, owner of the independent bookstore Petunia's Place at Palm and Bullard, who has agreed enthusiastically to have a dedicated and prominent shelf for the books of Fresno Poets. If you are one of them, and have books with a distributor, contact me. If you're like me, and your books are published by presses that don't use distributors, you may, also like me, be sitting on boxes of your books. Jean will sell those as well on consignment. She has limited storage, so only wants 2 copies of each title at a time. If you sell of consignment, she'll have a contract for you. The split will be 60% for the poet and 40% for the store, which is typical for this circumstance.
