The 2021 LitHop is coming on Saturday, October 16th! Businesses and venues in Fresno's Tower District will again be hosting live readings all day that day. It's a free experience, so bring your friends out to hear some of Fresno's finest writers in all genres read from their work.

In previous LitHop events, I read with two different groups of poets, and will be back to read as part of the same foursomes again. I can hardly wait. The first panel of four includes my Poets Behaving Badly pal Angela Chaidez Vincent, and the poets Kirk Stone and Victor Trejo. They are amazing--and I'm so happy to be reading again with this team of amazing human beings and poets. The second panel will be called 'The Long View' I think, and is comprised of three poets and one creative nonfiction writer. The poets are the great C.G. Hanzlicek, the superb Corrinne Clegg Hales, and me, and the prose writer is John Hales.Chuck, Connie, and John are all professors emeritus of the Fresno State Creative Writing MFA program. What an honor it is to read with them.

In between my own groups' readings, I'll be trying to hit as many fantastic readings as I can. I wish I could be everywhere at once. It would make the day to have you come. Consider yourself invited!
