Poets Rocked the Gallery

The Poets' Social Justice and Poetry Action reading Tuesday, September 20, at the Fresno Arts Council was great--the gallery was packed. We don't get 'standing room only' for poetry readings that often, but the town really turned out for us. Thanks to Lilia Chavez, Director of the Fresno Arts Council, and Andrea Mele, who coordinated the reading details with me. And greatest thanks to the splendid poets who came down to read with me: Lee Herrick, Kirk Stone, Ceci Hernandez, Bryan Medina, and Brynn Saito. What powerful readings!
